The theme of WACOM6 in Vilnius is ‘Building a City of Mercy’

Building a City of Mercy is an invitation to embark on a heart-transforming journey – a call for each of us to recognise the foundation on which our lives stand and to encounter personally the Divine Mercy.

Inspired by St. Augustine’s vision of the City of God, we are invited to build not structures, but a culture of mercy – right where we are. In the City of Mercy, everyone becomes a builder of mercy: within their family, at work, in society, and in the Church.

In building a City of Mercy, we ourselves are the bricks, and the cement is the fraternal unity of our hearts. May the fruits of the Congress inspire us to give ourselves to others and to share what we have received – to love as we are loved. This Congress will be a new impulse to become a brick of mercy in a boundless world and to follow Christ along the path of mercy, as He calls us to do.
