Evening Program: Prayer, Film, and Exhibition

D. Morozovos nuotr.

This evening, Congress participants and the people of Vilnius are invited to join prayer gatherings taking place in churches throughout the city. These evenings offer a chance to pause in God's presence, worship and praise Him, listen to His Word, and pray for ourselves, our families, and the world. The program includes Eucharistic Adoration, praise and worship, intercessory prayer, and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

At the same time, the Congress venue, Savior's Hill (Rasų St. 6), will host a screening of The Sacred Heart at 8:00 p.m. The film tells the story of the visions received by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, which gave rise to devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and invites viewers to rediscover Christ's message of love, mercy, and peace.

Visitors are also invited to explore the exhibition Religion and War: Changes in the Lithuanian Orthodox Church at the Lithuanian Exarchate Center. The exhibition examines the relationship between religion and war, presents the history of the Orthodox Church in Lithuania, and encourages reflection on questions of faith, conscience, and freedom in the face of today's geopolitical challenges.

Join us as we encounter the Lord through prayer, worship, culture, and fellowship, continuing together to build a City of Mercy.
